1. Registration & Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of registration to confirm attendance.
- Registrations are non-transferable without prior written approval from the event organizers.
- Group or cohort registrations must list all attending individuals at the time of purchase.
2. Refund Policy
Refund requests must be submitted by email to info@wvoutdooreconomy.com and include your name and registration confirmation details.
Refunds will be issued according to the following schedule:
- On or before January 15, 2026: 100% of the registration fee will be refunded.
- January 16– February 5, 2026: 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
- After February 5, 2026: No refunds will be granted.
All approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
3. Ticket Transfers
If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another attendee.
- No Tickets Will Be Transferred After 2/16/26 (including at the event)
- After that date, please reach out to info@wvoutdooreconomy.com and we will do our best to accommodate last-minute changes.
- No-shows will not be refunded.
- If the event is canceled by the organizers for any reason, full refunds will be issued automatically.
4. Event Changes
- The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event schedule, speakers, or venue as necessary.
- Any significant changes will be communicated to registered attendees via email.
5. Code of Conduct
- The WV Outdoor Economy Summit is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and professional environment for all participants.
- Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without refund.
- Attendees are expected to respect fellow participants, presenters, and staff at all times.
6. Photo & Video Disclaimer
- Photographs and/or video will be taken throughout the conference and associated events.
- By attending, you grant the event organizers full rights to use the resulting images and recordings for promotional and educational purposes, including but not limited to use in print, online, and social media.
- If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify an event organizer on-site.
7. Liability Waiver
- By attending, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with participation. The event organizers, venue, and partners are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property incurred during the event.
8. Privacy Policy
- Your registration information will be used solely for event communication and administration purposes and will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to operate the event.
- By registering, you consent to receive event-related communications from WVU Smith Outdoor Economic Development Collaborative and its partners.
9. Agreement
- By completing your registration and attending the WV Outdoor Economy Summit, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
